MUNCIE, IN— The Greater Muncie Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the hiring of Sami Farmer as its new Community & Business Engagement Coordinator. In this role, Farmer will support Chamber programs and events, strengthen member engagement, coordinate sponsorship initiatives, and help enhance the Chamber’s presence throughout the community.
Farmer brings a strong background in event coordination, communications, and community engagement through a variety of professional experiences. As the owner of Sami Farmer Photo, she has successfully managed a full-service photography and event coordination business specializing in weddings, family photography, and special occasions. Her experience also includes internships with the Nonprofit Support Network and Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County, as well as Union Chapel Ministries, where she assisted with event planning, communications, and operational coordination.

As Community & Business Engagement Coordinator, Farmer will work closely with Chamber members, sponsors, community partners, and local leaders to support initiatives that strengthen the local business community and advance the Chamber’s mission.
