No Laps Left Behind Warrior Walk To Be Held on November 9

Woof Boom Radio is hosting a Veteran’s Day event—No Laps Left Behind: Warrior Walk.

Woof Boom Radio would like to raise $10,000 for Delaware County Veterans. This event honors local veterans by bringing the community together and raising funds so that veterans can get through life after meaningful service to our country.

The funds raised will be distributed to The Honor Guard, AmVets groups & the American Legions in Delaware County, and the Delaware County Office of Veteran’s Affairs.

Upon arrival, everyone will be given a flag provided by and sponsored by CanPack.

Opening Ceremony begins at 10 a.m.

Other event elements will occur at the top of every hour, and there will be a closing ceremony at 1:45 p.m.

The entire event will be broadcast on WMUN, sponsored by Gaddis Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.

Opening Ceremony:

National Anthem, song by Miss Indiana Kalyn Melham, sponsored by Sam Pierce Chevrolet

12 p.m. Mascot Race, sponsored by YMCA of Muncie

Registration fees can be paid online or by cash or check in person at 800 E. 29th Street, Muncie, IN. (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

Registration fees can also be paid on the day of the event on November 9th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Muncie Central High School track.

Participants who register will take home more than just memories of the walk, they will receive a t-shirt, bib, and medal. Additionally as part of the registration, we are asking participants to list who they are walking in honor of. For example: Bib #45, Megan is walking in honor of Sgt. Scott, who served in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Our well known radio sports play-by-play announcers will announce the walkers throughout the event. Participants will only need to walk one lap but they can definitely do more if they’d like.

This event is $20 for a single registration and $200 for a team of 10 to register. Don’t forget— that includes the t-shirt, bib, and medal.

The event is free to attend.
